Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 13 July 2026
These terms govern your use of PaySir Accounting, operated by Town-Z Fintech Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U66190UP2025PTC235579), registered at Bhudha Park Road, Near Kanshi Ram Colony, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh – 244001 ("the Service"), an accounting and financial-management platform for small businesses. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you register.
1. The Service
PaySir provides digital bookkeeping: khata (credit ledger), income/expense tracking, invoicing, inventory, journal entries, GST summaries, ITR-oriented reports, reminders and related features. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
2. Accounts and companies
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- Each company (organisation) you create is a separate tenant; you are responsible for who you invite and the roles you grant them.
- You must be 18 or older and capable of entering a contract under Indian law.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance via Razorpay on a monthly or yearly cycle and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Plan upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.
- If a renewal payment fails we retain your access for a grace period (currently 7 days) while payment is retried; after that, your account moves to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted because of a failed payment.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and may change with 30 days' notice.
- Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Your data
The business records you enter remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service (storing, processing and displaying your data to you and your team). Handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Not professional advice
PaySir is software, not a chartered accountant. GST summaries, ITR report packs, AI assistant responses and similar outputs are assistive computations based on the data you enter. They are not tax, legal or financial advice, and you are responsible for verifying filings with a qualified professional.
6. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, including money laundering or fraudulent record-keeping.
- No attempts to breach security, scrape other tenants' data, or resell the Service.
- No uploading of malicious content.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practicable.
7. Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time and may request account deletion. We may terminate for material breach. After termination we retain data only as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Price changes
[PENDING LEGAL REVIEW] If we change the price of a paid plan, the new price applies from your next renewal, never mid-cycle. We will notify you by email and in-app before a price change takes effect, and you may cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue at the new price.
10. Free trials
[PENDING LEGAL REVIEW] We do not currently offer a free trial of any paid plan. The Free plan is permanent and requires no payment method. If we introduce a trial in future, its terms will be stated here before it is offered.
11. What happens if your subscription ends
[PENDING LEGAL REVIEW] If you cancel, or a renewal payment fails beyond the grace period, your account moves to the Free plan. Your data is not deleted. Your books, invoices, khata, parties and reports remain intact and accessible; only the paid features stop. Free-plan usage limits then apply. This describes how the Service actually behaves — access degrades, records do not.
12. Third-party services
[PENDING LEGAL REVIEW] We rely on third-party processors to operate the Service — including Razorpay (payments), Clerk (sign-in), Neon (database hosting), Resend (email) and Sentry (error monitoring). What each receives, and what we remove before sending it, is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
